cortez veterinary staff Veterinary technician Vincent Lysobey has been caring for pets at Beach Veterinary Clinic since 1993. He loves working in the hospital's friendly, compassionate atmosphere and enjoys learning new techniques about animal care. Vincent's animal companions include three dogs, Sky, Baby and Hurricane, as well as three birds, two bearded dragons, a tegu, a pond full of koi and two cats, Blue and Jena. He has attended several AKC dog shows and also enjoys going to reptile shows. Vincent is a power lifter and is competing to obtain a "Best 181" spot in the 800 lbs. category. His interests also include riding bikes and going for motorcycle rides, as well as spending time with his son and daughter, Haley and Vinny Jr.

cortez veterinary Joey Knudstrup is our Practice Manager and has cared for pets at Beach Veterinary Clinic since 2001. He is proud to be part of the friendly staff and enjoys working with the clients and patients that come into the hospital. Spending time with friends and family, fishing, golfing, and playing pool are Joey's favorite pastimes. He shares his home with a dog named Tyson.

cortez veterinary staff Receptionist Lesley Falcone has helped clients and pets at Beach Veterinary Clinic since 2008. She loves animals and appreciates the time she gets to spend with them. In her spare time, Lesley most enjoys boating, going to the beach and spending time with her family, which includes two Boxers named Deuce and Flip Flop.

cortez veterinary Tiffany Toth has been a Veterinary Technician at Beach Veterinary Clinic since 2008 and says she loves being part of the caring and friendly staff. She adds that her life has been spent around animals as she grew up on a farm in upstate New York and loves working with animals. She enjoys spending her free time with her son, friends and her dog named Cadillac and guinea pig named Piglet. Her interests include softball, fishing, boating, and being out in the sunshine.

cortez veterinary hospital Sheree McClendon has been in the animal care field for over six years. In November 2009, she came on board as a full time Veterinary Technician here at Beach Veterinary Hospital due to her drive to care for animals in need.

When Sheree isn't taking care of animals at the clinic, she can be found pet sitting or at home playing with her six dogs: Sweetheart, Ty, Fefe, Shayla, Calli and Micky. She also enjoys playing volleyball, fishing and spending time at the beach.

Jenna Rio, Veterinary TechnicianVeterinary Technician Jenna Rio has been with Beach Veterinary Clinic since March of 2011 and earned her certification from St. Petersburg College in 2013. She has two quarter horses named Sonny and Skippy, a Rat Terrier named Gracie, Dalmatian mix named Levi, a catahoula leopard dog named Dixie, and a Chi-Poo named Maggie. Jenna enjoys barrel racing, horseback riding, fishing, and boating.

Heather Woodbridge, Kennel TechnicianKennel technician and receptionist Heather Woodbridge joined us in October 2012, and has stayed with Beach Veterinary Clinic because of its friendly atmosphere, plus the location. "It's close to the beach," she explains. Heather's friendly personality and passion for ensuring animals receive the best possible care make her a valuable asset to the team. She spends her free time with family, friends, and her two dogs, Ashley and Peanut.

Samantha Spears, Kennel TechnicianSamantha Spears is a Kennel Technician at Beach Veterinary Clinic. She spends her work day taking care of our boarders and keeping our pet boarding facility neat and clean. Being around the animals, she says, is the most rewarding aspect of her job.

Often times, she says, first time boarders will be nervous in unfamiliar surroundings. In these cases, Samantha does her best to make the dogs comfortable with "love, belly rubs, and yummy treats."

Samantha has two Pomeranians: Rocky and Bulma, and spends her free time playing softball with her co-workers and hanging out with her family, friends, and dogs.

Receptionist Chanene Wimmer is responsible for greeting clients and their pets, data entry and general customer service. She has worked at Beach Veterinary Clinic since July of 2014, and enjoys interacting with clients and patients alike.

"I love the feeling of helping. Having the opportunity to do what I love and help others gives me a great feeling of accomplishment at the end of the day."

Chanene has two Jack Russel terriers, Teva and Scruff, and a Pointing Griffon mix, Mojo. She enjoys hiking, kayaking, swimming, gardening, and going to the beach in her free time.

Lisa Richless is a Groomer at Beach Veterinary Clinic. She joined the team in January of 2016. Working with the animals that come and being able to help them look their best is her favorite part of the position.

"Beach Veterinary Clinic has a very well organized and professional team," says Lisa. "Everyone here is hardworking and caring."

At home, Lisa has a Boston terrier named Brandy. She enjoys boating, hiking, biking gardening and painting in her free time.

Megan McCrea joined the team at Beach Veterinary Clinic as a Veterinary Technician in February of 2015. She has three years of experience in the animal care field and is currently attending St. Petersburg College, where she is working towards an A.S. in Veterinary Technology.

"I enjoy working at Beach Veterinary Clinic because we have a great atmosphere and wonderful, compassionate staff. We all really enjoy making our client's and pet's lives better."

Megan has two dogs: Scamp, a Papillion and Aria, a pit bull. She also has a cat, Ivey. When she's not at work or school, she enjoys reading, catching up on TV shows, going to movies, trying new restaurants and going out with family and friends.

Meredith Kent is a Veterinary Technician at Beach Veterinary Clinic. She joined the team in July of 2015. Meredith is passionate about animals, and enjoys helping to make sure that they receive the best possible care at Beach Veterinary Clinic.

"I love working at Beach Veterinary Clinic because I have the opportunity to work hands-on with animals. Personally, I don't think it gets much better than playing with animals right by the beach every day!"

Meredith has a Beagle mix named Hunter and two cats, Bob and Marley. In her free time she enjoys working out, taking her dog for walks, baking desserts, going fishing and going to the beach.
